Delete Your Data
Request deletion of your Celestryll account and personal data — however you signed in.
1. Your right to deletion
You can ask us to delete the personal data associated with your Celestryll account at any time. This is your right under the EU/UK GDPR ("right to erasure", Article 17), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), and comparable laws in Canada, Australia, and elsewhere. Making a request is free, and we will not treat you differently for exercising it.
2. How to request deletion
Send us a request and we will delete your account and personal data. Using the button below pre-fills everything we need; you can also email appdev@celestryll.com directly with the subject "Data Deletion Request", or use our contact form.
Request data deletion by email
So we can find and verify your account, please include: the email address on your account, which sign-in method you used (see section 5), and the product(s) you used. We may ask one or two questions to confirm the request comes from you before we delete anything.
3. What we delete — and what we must keep
Deleted: your account profile and the personal data we hold, including your name, email address, country and city, sign-in identifier, and the link between you and your subscription.
Retained (only where the law requires):
- Payment records: Your card details are held by Stripe, not us — see our Privacy Policy. Invoice and transaction records that tax and accounting law requires us to keep are retained in a form that no longer identifies you wherever possible.
- Anonymised analytics: Aggregated, non-identifying usage data may be kept.
- Legal holds: Data we are legally required to preserve (e.g. an active dispute or a regulatory obligation) is kept only for as long as required, then deleted.
4. How long it takes
We acknowledge deletion requests promptly and complete them within 30 days (the GDPR one-month deadline), and we email you to confirm when it is done. If a request is unusually complex we may extend this and will tell you why.
5. How you signed in (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft)
You can request deletion whichever way you created your account. If you used a third-party sign-in, tell us the email address associated with that provider so we can locate your account. Two things worth knowing:
- Deleting your Celestryll data does not delete your Google/Apple/Facebook/Amazon/Microsoft account — those are separate accounts you own.
- Removing Celestryll's access at your provider does not by itself delete the data we hold — send us a request (section 2) as well.
To also disconnect Celestryll from your identity provider, manage app access here:
- Google: myaccount.google.com/connections
- Apple (Sign in with Apple): account.apple.com → Sign-In & Security → Apps Using Apple ID
- Facebook: facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites
- Amazon (Login with Amazon): amazon.com/ap/adam
- Microsoft: account.live.com/consent/Manage
6. Deleting from an app store
If you installed a Celestryll app from a store, you can also request account deletion through the store, and this page serves as our account-deletion link for those listings:
- Google Play: This page is our Play Store account-deletion URL. You can also submit a data deletion request to appdev@celestryll.com.
- Apple App Store: Where an app supports accounts, you can delete your account in-app; you may also request deletion here.
- Amazon Appstore: Contact appdev@celestryll.com for deletion of data tied to Amazon Appstore installs.
7. Questions
Questions about a request or about your data? Email appdev@celestryll.com or use our contact form. You can review what we collect and why in our Privacy Policy. EEA/UK users also have the right to complain to their local data-protection authority.
